I had the honor to interview Marisol Elliott. She is a daily survivor of stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. She shares her story as a woman, woman of color, wife, and busy mother of 3. We focused on her journey, the importance of self-advocacy, awareness of symptoms, and much more.

"Every year on May 8th, World Ovarian Cancer Day increases global awareness for this deadly disease. The day also unites those living with ovarian cancer, as well as survivors and their families. In 2018, the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition estimated nearly 300,000 cases of ovarian cancer across the globe."
